Keeping up with the Power Platform roadmap

As part of our Power Platform Advisor as a Service offering, we conduct regular Power Platform technology roadmap review sessions with our customers. The aim is to not just go through the tens/hundreds of new features that Microsoft has published for their products, but rather to pick the highlights and understand why they can be valuable for the customer’s scenarios.

To give you an idea of what we usually talk about in these sessions, here is an example of Team FF Power Platform roadmap deck from November 2021:

The content is structured to first highlight the updates that are most relevant for business users and decision makers. We then dive deep into product specific areas, covering Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, as well as supporting technologies like AI Builder, Dataverse – and of course the all important governance and administration tools.

These roadmap reviews are of course just one aspect of what is needed in supporting customers who are investing in low-code platforms and see them as a critical part of their digital business infrastructure. Another central piece of our Advisor as a Service package is establishing a Microsoft Teams communication channel for your Power Platform key users to ask questions from the Forward Forever team of advisors on topics specific to your organization’s apps and processes.
