Training Day: Power Platform Governance in Practice – Madrid, Feb 22, 2024
One of Forward Forever’s core offerings, since we launched in 2020, has been to advise customers on Power Platform governance. Through working with enterprise customers in Finland, we have developed training content and labs that aim to package our experiences and observations from these customer engagements.
Our Power Platform Governance in Practice is an training course designed for 1 day in-person events. It focuses on the low-code application platform tools like Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse. We have built a dedicated training tenant in which the attendees are able to get hands-on experience with real-life administration and governance tasks. The day consists of 2 lessons with theory and lab execrises to keep us busy for the morning & afternoon:
This is not a Microsoft curriculum. It is based on the identified low-code platform governance needs that exist in both customer organizations as well as on the MS partner side – for which there currently is no official certitication path available.
What this means is we don’t just recite the product documentation to you. Instead we focus on explaining the reasons why things work the way they do – and what pitfalls you should be aware of. Our lesson scenarios address the common state of “wild west” usage of Power Platform without a proper governance model in place. You will learn the necessary survival skills to take control of the Microsoft 365 tenant’s apps, automations and environments, as well as understand what tools you have at your disposal to improve the adoption maturity of Power Platform in the organization.
The training content has been developed by and will be delivered by our three Microsoft MVPs: Antti Pajunen, Ferran Chopo and Jukka Niiranen.
