2024 Year in Review: Another Year of Growth, Development, and Community at Forward Forever

As we look back on 2024, we have achieved significant growth and development. Despite the general market conditions not being quite optimal, especially in our main market in Finland, we successfully navigated these challenges and achieved a revenue growth of 33%, reaching a total revenue of 2.87 million euros. Our sustained growth is a testament to our strong partnerships with customers, our incredible team of top-notch professionals, and our efficient operations. We maintained a strong operating profit, ensuring we are well-positioned for future growth.

Employee Well-being and Survey Highlights

Last fall, we joined the Focus Tiger program, a neuroscience-based initiative developed by Silta Education aimed at enhancing productivity and the personal well-being of participants. The program was designed for our experts, and over the course of six weeks, our team received valuable tools to improve their focus and manage stress. The positive feedback from the program and measurable improvements in productivity and well-being have been encouraging. Notably, 88% of our participants reported improved life satisfaction due to the program, and 100% reclaimed reducing multitasking habits.

In the 2024 employee satisfaction survey, our eNPS score was 77, which is an excellent result. The biggest improvements were seen in work motivation and the work community atmosphere, while there is still room for improvement in our internal processes and practices. In total, employee turnover was a bit higher than expected, and we hope to see more stability in this area in 2025 and beyond. There was no single reason for the higher-than-usual turnover, but rather several different situations coinciding in the same year. Customer satisfaction in 2024 remained at a very high level, with an NPS score of 83.

Community Contribution

Our commitment to community participation in 2024 has also been stronger than ever. We actively engaged in various community events, sharing our knowledge and expertise through blogs, events, direct discussions, and social media. We also took the first steps towards a more systematic and structured approach to community participation by appointing Antti Pajunen as our Community Lead.

FF & Friends: Our First Customer Event

In 2024, we launched our first customer event, FF & Friends, on September 4th. This event brought together our customers to share valuable insights, experiences, and best practices related to Power Platform. The event was held at BioRex Kulttuurikasarmi in Helsinki and featured speakers from Microsoft and our customers, in addition to FF team members. The event included roundtable discussions, live demos of AI capabilities, and networking opportunities. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with our customers and explore effective strategies for enhancing Power Platform development. Company Get-Togethers: Trip to Girona and Pre-Christmas Party in Helsinki

The year 2024 also included some memorable company get-togethers. In May, we travelled to Girona, Spain, for our annual team trip. The trip included a hackathon and a bunch of informal group activities, providing a perfect blend of professional development and leisure. In December, we celebrated our pre-Christmas party in Helsinki, with an evening of live music, food, cocktail/mocktail school, and just good ol’ hanging out.

This spring, we are waiting for our company’s 5th birthday to come, and closer to the summer, we will get together in Aulanko, Finland, for a few days of learning and laughing together.

Future Growth Plan for 2025-2028

We have set an ambitious growth plan for 2025-2028. Our goal is to grow from 3 million euros to 10 million euros in annual revenue by 2028. This plan includes a more focused Customer and Offering strategy, whilst maintaining our core values.

To ensure sustainable long-term growth, we started a collaboration with Markko Vaarnas from Takeoff Partners and Jenni Mickos as our board advisors for business development and growth ambition. Their extensive experience in international growth and strategic planning has been invaluable in guiding us towards our goal of becoming the leading Power Platform partner.
