2025 in Review: Growing Up

2025 was a big year for Forward Forever. We hit new highs, learned a lot, and even managed to have some fun along the way. Here’s a quick look at what we got up to.
Business: Up and to the Right
We closed the year with €4.03M in revenue, up 40% from 2024. We also kept profitability comfortably above 20%. Not bad, especially in this market and economy, if you ask me. We’re now well on track towards our long-term goal of €10M by 2028. They say that great things happen when your goals scare you a little, right?
We earned two new Microsoft Solutions Partner designations on the Azure side (Data & AI and Digital & App Innovation), which is a fancy way of saying we’ve been busy levelling up. Recently we became eligible for two new Microsoft advanced specializations but need to investigate the auditing requirements for these before decorating the office walls with new badges of honor.
People: Bigger, Better, Happier
We added 10 new team members in 2025, with six more joining in early 2026. Our team is now 40 strong, and we’re proud of the culture we’ve built. Culture that’s collaborative, curious, and occasionally obsessed with solving complex challenges.
We also welcomed our new People & Culture Lead, Poola, whose positive impact has already been felt across the whole company, and her leadership has allowed me to focus more effectively on my own key responsibility areas. Cheers for that!
Our employee engagement score (eNPS) climbed to 82 (up from 77), and thanks to a successful year, our equal employee bonus model ensures that we can share the fruits of our success with the entire team.
In addition, our shared gatherings; the “FF Summer Camp” at Aulanko, Christmas party at Helsinki, and our monthly meetups for shared breakfast or FF work anniversary celebrations, continued to play an important role in strengthening our culture. These moments give us space to connect, learn from one another, and simply enjoy being together. They’ve once again shown how strong and warm‑hearted our community is, and how much energy we get from spending time together outside our daily work.

Customers: Still Happy (and Honest)
Our work with organizations of different sizes and industries grew deeper and broader, and we also welcomed several new clients. Onboarding customers to our continuous services has been a high priority, as we know that it improves the quality and volume of collaboration significantly.
Our customer NPS came in at 69. That’s a slight dip from last year’s sky-high 83, but with a much broader and more rigorous survey this time around, we’re still thrilled. Clients love our technical expertise and responsiveness – and they’ve challenged us to be even more proactive. Challenge accepted.
FF & Friends: The Sequel
Our annual customer event, FF & Friends, doubled in size this year. We hosted a great bunch of attendees from across industries, shared real‑world experiences, and even managed to have some fun along the way. The feedback was glowing; several customers highlighted how professionally the event was organized, from the program flow to the overall experience.

This year’s program also featured a keynote by Dr. Mona Moisala on brain health, focus, and smart knowledge work, and the sessions brought together both our own experts and customer speakers to share practical insights and success stories. And yes, the afterparty didn’t hurt either. The event sparked several new opportunities, and we’re starting to plan the 2026 edition. If you are interested in taking the stage or have some ideas for the event, let us know! Stay tuned.
Sharing is caring!
We kept sharing what we know and learn through blogs, informal talks, webinars, conferences, and community events. Our new webinar series, “Straight Talk on Power Platform,” launched in January 2026 and is already drawing a crowd. We believe in giving back to the community, and we’re proud to see our team leading the way.
By the way, our team attends a number of domestic and international events throughout the year. If you’re interested in joining us on any of them, just hit us up.
Growth and focus areas: Fabric, AI, and Continuous Services
Rapidly evolving Microsoft Fabric kept our data team on their toes throughout the year. As new capabilities rolled out, we worked closely with customers to rethink their data landscapes, from modernizing architectures to building smarter, more scalable analytics environments. Our team helped organizations navigate the shift toward unified data platforms, experiment with new patterns, and turn fragmented data into actionable insights.
The rise of AI is both exciting and a little unsettling. On one hand, AI‑turbocharged coding dramatically reduces the effort required to build software, and ‘vibe‑based’ development opens application creation to a much broader group of people. This naturally raises questions about how the demand for low‑code will evolve. However, we believe that new AI capabilities will accelerate, not diminish, the relevance and value of low‑code. Unlocking the full potential of AI still requires high‑quality data, robust governance, and a well‑designed enterprise architecture. These are exactly the areas where low‑code platforms and expert partners shine. We’re investing heavily in our Microsoft AI capabilities and have a new AI/Copilot Lead starting in February.
Meanwhile, our Continuous Services offering and capabilities matured nicely. More clients are trusting us to keep their Power Platform and Fabric solutions running smoothly, and we’re happy to help out!
Looking Ahead
We’re aiming for ~38% growth in 2026 whilst sustaining good profitability. That means staying sharp across all of our competence areas; Apps, Automation, Data, and AI.
To our clients: thank you for your trust. To our team: you’re the best. To our partners and advisors: we appreciate your support. And to everyone in the Power Platform community: let’s keep building.
Here’s to another year of doing great work, learning fast, and having a laugh along the way.
Peace out,
Olli
